community
the real work of building community is mostly showing up to wash the dishes. I explore human connection through purposeful gathering. I endeavor to foment community and strengthen connections, both human and more-than-human. whether it’s the formal and intimate practice in Omotesenke Tea Ceremony, the hedonistic exuberance of a radical Queer retreat, or just tea in the woods with whomever happens along the path… for me, cultivating diverse and interconnected community is a foundation for hope and resilience. I have been entrusted with positions of support, facilitation, and leadership across diverse communities including Zen Buddhist sangha, rural intentional co-housing, non-profit ecological education, and cooperative business. I’m always open to new opportunities to collaborate.
