place-making: intervention & environment

I design, curate, and create place. my practice of place-making includes environments at every scale; landscapes, buildings, gardens, furniture, and transient spatial interventions... Sometimes at the scale of regenerative forest or garden, sometimes a tearoom, toolshed or planter box. Some of my projects are immediate and ephemeral, some are solid construction, others are endeavors in deep-time ecological resilience. my place-making practice is a design process that draws on my backgrounds in architecture, ecology, and social practice, and utilizes all aspects of sense-perception. I love to consult, collaborate, coach, and lead on forward-thinking place-based projects.
